Call for Posters: Tenth Annual Rural Behavioral Health Conference

Updated: Sep 25, 2018

Poster presentation proposal deadline is April 27, 2018.

This year's conference will be October 5, 2018.

We encourage posters that report scientific studies on any aspect of rural behavioral health. We invite both students and professionals to submit posters.

Studies may be submitted in advance of final data collection and analysis, provided that method and types of data and planned analysis are described in the descriptive statement, with the understanding that, if there is not at least preliminary data to present by September 14, 2018, posters will be withdrawn. Conference participants will vote for the best poster with a student first author/principal presenter (interns and post-docs qualify as students). The first author of the student poster with the most votes will receive a certificate and award of $25.

This is a webcast conference. Poster presenters will only need to present virtually. The poster must be sent in PowerPoint format of up to 12 slides at least 3 weeks before the conference, by September 14, 2018. Include audio narration in your poster file (ask Conference Coordinator if you are unsure how to add this to Power Point).

Poster presentations will be limited to a maximum of 8 minutes, but are usually shorter. At least one author/poster presenter must be available for discussion by telephone and email during the poster session.

One presenter of each poster, determined by the first author, will receive free conference registration and CE credit.
